Lodging at the Gaffer Inn

Nice place, very clean and comfy. 2nd floor, lots of steps to get up here but its worth it! Downtown Corning on Market St is right where you want to be staying for a Museum or City weekend. Don't forget to sign the guest book in the dresser!

Great room, great service and such a cute little town! Would absolutely come back and would recommend this Inn to anyone looking to get away for a weekend!

Our room was more of a suite! Clean, spacious, well thought out. The suite faced the main Street over The Burger and Beer Restaurant, where we enjoyed a sumptuous burger and beer.nnIt is a short walk toThe Corning Museum of Glass from our room. Shopping restaurants were right outside our door. We would definitely stay there again!

A very decent place to stay. Clean and quiet, well equipped boutique suite at a price that is on par with what I would expect from one of the more expensive corporate chain hotels nearby. Great downtown Corning location with lots of gems within walking distance. My only suggestion to the inn is to offer guests dinner/breakfast credits at the restaurant downstairs as a low cost, high value way of improving the package given the lack of hotel amenities like a pool, gym etc. Also some cutlery would be a beneficial addition to the in-suite wetbar.
