Our car broke down just as we coasted into a parking space at the Rodeway Inn in Mt. Vernon. It turned out to be a lucky break (as it were). If we had to have a breakdown that required an overnight stay somewhere, this was a great place to have it—the hotel was extremely clean and well-maintained. The staff were kind and helpful. It made us want to stop again sometime as we drive back and forth from Chicago to North Carolina to see family. If you’re stopping in to hear music in Renfro Valley or just stopping to rest from a long drive, the Rodeway Inn in Mt. Vernon is a great place to do it!
very nice staff. but they need to change the bedspreads and blankets after each customer. along with the sheets and towels.

Best kept secret in the area. The staff was beyond helpful. The hotel was very clean and if I'm ever in the area again I will stay here no questions asked!!!
