Hampton Inn Schenectady

The fridge was gross, I cleaned it myself. The room smelled like someone had just done a bong hit before we walked in, but it was a welcomed smell, as the whole 5th floor smells like old urine. We had only 2 towels in the suite and had our kids with us. We were told they didn't have any extra towels and we could get some the next day. We used to stay here every time we came up to visit but thisnwill be our last stay here.

The hotel is fine and the rooms are great. Even the breakfast is nice for a quick bite. The big downside is that every time I went out to smoke a cigarette or go to get in or out of my car, someone is always bugging me for money. In one day I’ve had 5 people walking from the street to the parking lot asking for $5. My job paid for me to stay here, otherwise I would’ve left.

We love staying at the Hampton Inn and Suites. Whenever we travel that is our first choice. Always friendly at the desk even at times like the corona. The desk staff is always helpful.

Beds were comfy. I was very disappointed the pool was closed for COVID...they should have specified this on the website prior to booking..I would have saved some cash and booked a room w.o. a pool. ud83eudd37ud83cudffb‍♀ufe0f
