Over the weekend we visited our family at this campground. The campground is very clean and well kept for the most part.The campground looked packed and lots of people and kids out and about. My big thing that I was very unhappy about was the the earth moving digger thingy coming in and being loud and making a mess. I’m sure that there must be other times to schedule this type of thing done. Why do it when families are trying to enjoy a weekend together? Also kids could have easily gotten hurt. No safety procedures were observed and no cones or any type of area was sectioned off to indicate construction. I told my family members that they shouldn’t come back because of the possible danger to their kids. I was told that the management was great and helpful but I’m not sure why the owners would allow this to happen on such a busy weekend. Would have been definitely 5 star campground if not for the ill timing of the construction.
Me and my family love this place. The creek is one of the most beautiful creeks we've ever seen. Watch out for them crawdads!! They'll getcha! From the peaceful and natural setting to the fantastic people running this place, we can't recommend it enough. Don't tell too many people about it.
We took some time to unplug this weekend at Happy Camper RV Park and had a blast! We loved playing in the creek and letting our boys ride their bikes. Of course we had to take a lunch break to watch Cars and drink Ale-8. The park was clean and the neighbors were very friendly. This was a great, relaxing weekend for our family.
Such an awesome place. It is absolutely beautiful, management is terrific. You can definitely tell that they and the owners are working hard to make it better and better every stay! Very peaceful! I know starting a park cannot be easy, but everyone here is doing wonderful! Highly recommend staying here! Actually one of the top reasons that I am soon to be relocating TO Somerset!!! Thank you guys & keep up the great work!!
We have been long time residents of happy camper. We keep our lot year round. Ashley and Austin do a great job with the campground. Great little dog run and it’s kept very clean.
