Lee's Ford Resort Marina

Would not recommend for pontoon rentals. We rented a pontoon for the day. The gas gauge was iffy. But most importantly, the ladder fell off on our first stop. Someone went to get off the pontoon into the water and it fell off. She was able to catch it with her foot, but it was near impossible to get back into the boat. We returned the boat very early that day since it would be difficult to enjoy it and get in/out of the boat.nnUpon return, we notified the staff of the issue. They were very nice in telling us they would only charge us for the hours used. Very fair arrangement. They said the manager would be calling us to discuss the details further.nnAfter a week, the person who made the reservation called to inquire about it and had to leave a message. Called a week later. Had to leave a message. Finally, this past Wednesday she was able to speak with the manager. She told us she would find our packet and call us back after she made a pizza for someone. It is now Friday and no refund or call back. Called again, had to leave a message.nnNot sure how else to get this resolved. Please email me for the name of the person who made our reservation. [email protected]!nnUPDATE 9-16-2020nAfter 6 or so phone calls, the issue has been resolved and a refund was given for the hours we were unable to use on the boat. The manager was very apologetic.

The best place we've been in 2020 during this pandemic. We recieved the most grateful and helpful customer support and we had mad fun. My family is ready to come back. I encourage everyone to come out and visit Lee's Ford marina.nThank you for taking great care of us.

Our group of 8 rented a pontoon for the day and had a wonderful time. The marina has everything you need and offers great service. The lake is lovely this time of year!

We enjoyed our stay we stayed in cabin 4. My only complaint is that it needs a queen bed and few more kitchen essentials. But other than that we had a great time had planned on only stay M-F but extended our stay till Sunday.nOnly other complaint they need to ask guest not to park in boat launch area hard for people to rigging and unrigging the boats.nBig shout out to all the staff they treated us like they've known us forever and it was our first visit.

The house boat (docked) we rented was pretty nice but the housekeeping was horrible. My sheets had small blood stains on them so I washed them only to find crumbs under my fitted sheet. The stains didn't come out of the sheets so obviously they were old stains and the sheets should have been discarded a long time ago! We had to clean the microwave and any of the kitchen cabinets we used because they were filthy. And the kicker is they ask you to leave a tip if there will be excessive cleaning after you leave.....really???? It wasn't clean to begin with! We left it cleaner than we found it! The alarm for the sewer went off twice, we thought it was a smoke alarm but when the lady came down she said it was for the sewer. The alarm was silenced but the red light stayed on the rest of our trip. Upon further investigation we learned the alarm will go off when the levels get high. She said she would send someone the following day to check it, nobody ever showed up. While we were cleaning up the kitchen, the guys were standing out on the dock near the kitchen window and when we poured old coffee down the drain they saw it appear in the water which is upsetting since there is so much wild life in the water...ducks, fish, heron, turtles! These concerns were further addressed at check out and the lady didn't seem to care! We rented a pontoon boat which was nice, no problems there. The people vacationing or living there on other boats were all very friendly but I doubt I'd ever go back.
