Nice stay at Country Inn & actually stayed a 2nd night. Warm indoor heated pool with only one room each for 1 hr during virus pandemic. I was definitely pleased with hotel and i would stay again for sure!
First off let me star off by saying the guy at the front desk was very nice and helpful when I arrived around 4am. However, this place was pretty nasty. It smelt like smoke and mildew. There was urine on the bathroom floor. The curtains were filthy. The place could use a lot of maintenance. The pros were the customer service and the individually wrapped breakfast items.
The AC is very dated and didn't work well, you can hear clear conversations people have all around you through the walls and window. I can tell when the people above me get up to use the restroom because I can hear literally every footstep.nnIf you want to be able to sleep in any kind of peace, do not stay here. I know some sound is expected to be had, but I've never heard so much- it's like the walls and ceiling are paper thin!nnAt the very least the front desk was nice and friendly, but it's not like they can fix the above problems I mentioned.
Comfortable beds, good water pressure and heat in the shower. I would have appreciated it if they'd said before we arrived that the pool, hot tub, and hot breakfast were NOT available (my home state is more opened up than here) and if your advertised amenities aren't available don't charge full price. The stairs could have been vacuumed at some point this week as well. But it was a bed with pillows which was much needed. Oh, another thing, do NOT drink the coffee in the rooms. It tasted awful, worse than best choice or always save!! Go a couple miles to the gas station it tastes better.
Worst hotel experience ever. Was told they double booked and I had to take a queen bed because they had no.more rooms. Gave me a cot. They then called that an upgrade. They gave me a bill cheaper than the price I paid. I asked for a refund and they said no. I had to stya because it was memorial day weekend. Now I have had to file a dispute with discover all over the 45 dollars extra I was charged for an incorrect room. Just go elsewhere. Save yourself the trouble. Also had people drinking out in the parking lot a cooking out. Trash piled up outside of the door.
