After my bike was stolen, I immediately visited stores in my area in Massachusetts searching for a new hybrid bike- all of which told me there was a bike shortage and that the particular mountain/road hybrid type of bike I was looking for wouldn't be available until November, at the earliest. So I began my search online- where I came across The Bicycle Planet AND the bike I was looking for in stock, quantity of 1. I could not have been happier and ordered it immediately. After issuing my request for confirmation of my order via online listed phone number, I received text updates for the build and prepping of my bike from Chrissy (who could not have been more kind and helpful) and drove 4 hours to pick it up where I was helped by Howard, who made sure I was comfortable with the fit and structure of my bike before sending me on my way. I could not have found a better experience and am so thankful for my beautiful new bike! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Bicycle Planet!

We made a decision when my son needs a new bike to buy local to support our area. We made the trip here in hopes to get a education on sizing and what type of bike we can buy rather spending at a big box store. We was treated like aliens in the store. We stand there quietly while we see old time customers get first class service, jump us in line. We see other family walking thru the door and getting help walking pass us not even asking us, do you need anything? My wife looks at me knowing we do not belong here and say lets go....I open my mouth and ask for help, the kid behind the desk, say sorry I am helping someone. When I challenge him he say please wait and ran to the back to get help. We are already upset. I will never purchase from here EVER. Money will go back to big box store. You ruin the reason why people need to support small business. I hope the owner is reading this.

Awesome staff! Guys here are knowledgeable, very helpful and friendly, lots of bicycle in stock too.nTheir website is full of stuff you can order like the big bike shops in California and competitive prices, my favorite bike shop on long Island!

I'm very happy with my purchase. The experience I had was phenomenal. The staff is really friendly and willing to answer all your questions. I appreciate the knowledge shared as this was my first road bike and letting me ride it before making a decision. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a new ride.
