The park is beautifully located across the middle to the top of the mountain with great views from the overlook at the top. The RV park was well maintained but the spaces were a little close and it's right next to a baseball field surrounded by fence which detracts from the views. Overall it's a great place to visit.
Beautiful view
Very peaceful! The drive up the lane where the park is actually located takes you away from the traffic and busy flow of the day. It's quite serene--there is horseback riding offered, for trail riding. There is also a zip line and a YMCA. The recreational area is beside a walking track, which is used by UPike athletes. Definitely worth checking out if there is a need to just have QUIET
Sight seeing trip all the way here from Louisville. The mountains of Pikeville are really awesome. There us horseback riding in the area.
The Event Center is beautiful! The view is amazing. We attended our nephew's wedding and couldn't be more pleased with everything. They've also added stables, soccer fields, and more since we've been up there.
