Carriage House Motel

This is really the best you'd get from a motel that allows pets. They keep good matinence of the place and they keep it well sanitized, that along with no pests being present (bed bugs, fleas, lice, roaches, or rodents), and it's all you could really ask for when coming to a motel in a small town. I also personally enjoy the owners that haven't changed their nice, mid-westerner attitude for the couple of times I've stayed here.

Great bang for buck motel. Clean and comfortable beds at an affordable rate! I am repeat customer whenever I come into town for work!

It's a small motel built in the 50's. It has its charm from it, and its issues. The beds are sometimes very soft, sometimes very firm. The wifi is pretty much null (my services can connect to one router on particular, but never was able to establish an IP address, so it was as good as useless), and the satellite for TV works as long as the weather is nice. The rooms aren't spacious, but that's to br expected from a place built in the 50s. The curtains for the large windows are oftentimes so thin that you can make out hazy outlines of occupants when its dark outside and the lights are on in the room.nnAll in all, its a place to rest your head at night and get ready to go to work in the morning. Its not someplace I would recommend to someone planning to stay in and relax over the day. But it is considerably less expensive than the other places in town, and the owners genuinely care... which is something I cant say about the large 8 hotel down the road.

Very nice place overall. Only complaint is as I am a light sleeper my room was too close to a busy us hyway but later in the evening the traffic light on the corner goes to flashing yellow and it quiets right down. Will be more than happy to stay again

A very comfortable place to stay. Heather, owner, extremely likable and went well out of the way to insure my ease. Rooms are very clean, adequate and well maintained. Beautiful, quaint place where relaxation abounds. I will DEFINITELY be recommending this place to others and there is no other motel in town I will stay in anymore.nUnbelievable how friendly and nice every one here is. LOVED IT!!
