Extended Stay America - Minneapolis - Maple Grove

This Extended stay is comfortable and gave is a piece of mind after we moved out of our house. Mrs. Tammy the site manager is amazing she went above and beyond for my wife and I, she made sure we we're comfortable and that everything was on point and that we had everything we need to be comfortable. Mrs Pat, Diamond and Russell also went above and beyond for us and we really appreciate their help at this time in your life. They make sure their guess our safe and can sleep peacefully at night. I would recommend this extended stay for anyone needing a peace of mind. They are polite and they greet there guess with a smile ud83dude03.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Staff was able to accommodate most last-minute requests. Room was mostly clean (it could have been vacuumed a little better), but was fully stocked.nnLisa was especially nice. We had a 3 week stay, and she was very helpful with directions and suggestions as we are new transplants to MN. My 2 toddlers loved going downstairs to visit with her.

I have been staying here for quite some time and would recommend this place to anyone. The staff here is always friendly and so helpful. The other night we were coming out from our room to have a cigarette and we heard screaming coming from down the hallway. A gentleman was pulling on the door and screaming at Ms. Pat who was here alone and he kept screaming and pulling on the door to the point where I was getting scared and my partner felt as if he may need to step in but Ms. Pat handled it pretty well. Better than I would have. I have seen her diffuse quite a few situations that may have otherwise gotten out of hand. She is one of the best staff along with Jemala and Charles. They are always incredibly helpful and always working so hard to make sure that everyone is comfortable and sometimes I feel like they have to pick up the slack for people who aren't doing their jobs while they are here or for things that weren't done right the first time. During our stay we have enjoyed getting to know everyone and appreciate how they care about how we are doing and if we possibly need anything. I appreciate the patience that the staff has because trust me, sometimes they need it. The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is the parking lot being somewhat unsafe, as I fell a few days ago on the ice, and the fact that the grounds are not cleaned up like they should be. The maintenance people don't pick up trash that's in the parking lot or empty the trash out by the pet potty area. That's the only issues I have seen so other than that we have enjoyed our stay.

Room wasn't clean when we got there. It looked like somebody had stayed there for some quite an extensive amount of time. But they quickly fix the problem guys into a room that was nice and clean and suitable for us and our kids. Nice people that stay there. Got us unstuck from the snow a couple times from some of them snow storms. The price isn't all that great and Grand here. I think all hotels are pretty flippin' over priced. Especially with covid going on you'd really think that they'd figure out their pricing on that. To at least keep the numbers up to a decent amount of travelers coming through and staying in hotels. With all the amenities and all the hotels closed. Just personal opinions. Overall anyone who works here is pretty friendly. If you ask for something the response to time is pretty quick and prompt. Going as they do have a laundry room. Minus that there have any machines do not take cash due to vandalism and theft. They also closed down all the doors and require you to have a card to enter in only the front door.

Room was good size, and that was it. Bathroom sink stopper was stuck down so it filled up and you couldn't use it. Brushed my teeth and washed my hands in kitchen sink, not all the lights worked in the room (the one by itself wouldn't turn on no matter what light switch it turned and on then turned the dial on it. Fridge opens the wrong way and teatertoters when you put stuff in it. Oh and I was looking forward to a nice shower at least but the shower does drain was clogged so the tub filled up while I was showering, gross. Oh and the grosses thing, when I came in the room to turn the TV on the bottom of the remote was covered in grease, covered! They don't even wipre down the common touch areas like a remote, what else was not clean?! Gross gross gross
