My insurance company employed Gold Star Property Restoration, Inc. to mitigate water damage in my home caused from a leak in from my dish washer. Steve and his team were courteous, hardworking, easy to get hold of, and trustworthy. Steve had the job done faster than I expected he started on 07/22/2020 and completed the job 08/24/2020.nGold Star Property Restoration, Inc. took over the the restoration, because the first company hired in December 2019 Modernistic Restoration from my insurance company and fired July 2020 because they were incompetent to do job.nWhen Steve started his main concern was to get our kitchen put together with running water, refrigerator and stove something we lived out for over 7 months with out. Gold Star Property Restoration fixed all the problems left, including replacing laminate floor and sub floor to studs, the electrical and plumbing were redone so they are up to code and inspected by the City of Sterling Heights. The Modernistic did not want inspectors to check the house unless we paid for it.nAfter hearing excuses for 7 months.
