David is amazing! He was able to fix my son's bike for a reasonable price and helped my wife pick out a great bike that will serve her for the next 25 years. He is very knowledgeable, helpful and not at all pushy to make a sale. I would recommend him 10 out of 10 times!

Great small business, excellent owner! During lock down here in Philly, we like apparently every other person here was looking for bikes. Found the exact bike we were looking for at The Local Gear shop. Spoke to Dave who was beyond helpful who answered all our amateur questions and packed and shipped the bike to us in Philly. Bike arrived very fast and in great shape! Easy to complete the assembly and love the bike and the shop!

Love The Local Gear! Dave is a super helpful guy with plenty of wise suggestions for riders and outdoors enthusiasts. He has sharpened my knives, helped tune up my new electric/pedal assist bike ( and walk me through how the thing works! ), and been the number one source for our family to find birthday and Christmas presents for each other.
