aubrey grove (10/26/2019)
We recently had occasion to lodge at this quaint historic home, while attending timber frame classes at nearby Shelter institute. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was like coming home to grand-mama's house. We found it warm, inviting, safe , and clean. Very much look forward to returning in July, and experiencing the farm in yet another season of colors.

We stayed in the rooms with a king bed and single in one room and the pull out couch for the kids in the other. It was a very comfortable sleep. The sunroom for breakfast was surrounded by flower gardens outside and a hummingbird stopped and hovered outside the window as if on cue during breakfast! The gardens were spectacular and Bill, Carol and Fiona were very nice. I would definitely recommend a stay. The place even has an indoor pool which is definitely not something we expected at a B&B on the coast.nBefore we left we checked out the apartment available for rent. It is beautiful with enough space for two families. Bill and Carol thanks for a great stay!

A lovely place that offers super positive vibes, a great view, the purest air and warm company! If I lived round the corner - on the same continent at least! , I’d visit again and again!
Maine Mermaid (03/04/2019)
So cozy and warm, and the owners are wonderful. The whole experience was amazing. And the beaches nearby and hiking trails with views out to sea (3 lighthouses) and paths leading down to hidden, ocean coves, are the BEST in Maine. (Bring your camera! WOW!) Hermit Island Beach and Popham Beach are gorgeous! The town of Phippsburg is very picturesque (little fishing villages, with cottages, and views of sparkling coves with colorful lobster boats and wild islands of pine trees in the distance) There are 4 casual restaurants in town to check out (Watch the sun set over fresh Maine lobsters, clams, scallops, shrimp - Yum!). The people in town are very country - simple, friendly, and kind. There are a lot of summer people too. And the sunrise service at The Popham Chapel was inspiring (nondenominational). There are other churches in town as well. And if you feel like shopping or dining elsewhere, the quaint, Maine town of Bath, is nearby. You can also explore the neighbouring peninsulas if you have time. The whole area is just beautiful! What a time! Loads of great memories to last a lifetime, from a true, Maine vacation!

It was an exciting experience. We loved the set up except for the bugs/mosquitoes that make outdoor activities a hazardous event despite using bug prays.
