I did not like the vagrants coming in and out and filling up on coffee and leaving. The receptionist sits so low, she could not see. With that exception I liked the hotel.
The front desk staff are usually extremely standoffish and lazy. The ones I have had the displeasure of interacting with seemed to be inconvenienced by my sheer presence let alone having to do anything but sit there and look annoyed. Unfortunately end up stuck here often due to vacancy and price.
Over all the staff was nice, I was not informed that they were going to take extra money from me. I paid online for the room and there was no mention of them taking money out of my account, witch has left me broke. I was embarrassed and had to leave the store with out my stuff I needed. I will not be staying there in the future. She said the extra money would go back into my account in a couple days its been three. I do feel the person at the desk should inform people that they will take extra mone out.
Housekeeping and the front desk clerks were amazing and friendly. However, there was a lot of noise at night, alot of weed smell on the second floor the first night and a bunch of riff raff hanging around. Only complaint was the smoke alarm in the room was non existence.
I have stayed in hundreds of motels in my life, some good, some bad, but nothing like this!nCame here on business, checked in, and proceeded to my second floor room. Upon arrival, was having a hard time finding a light switch that worked. Finally was able to get the bathroom light on and come to realize that EVERY SINGLE electrical plug had been unplugged! I'm talking, the refrigerator, the TV, the clock, all light fixtures....EVERYTHING.nI quickly went downstairs to see if they put me in the wrong room when the front desk apologized that they didn't tell me this when I booked. (Booked online)nThe owner is trying to save money in ambient electricity, so they unplug everything!nFirst off, If unplugging the clock radio is what this hotel needs to do to survive.....CLOSE IT!nTruely the craziest thing I have seen in 35 years of travel.nThe Hotel itself, outdated. Worn carpets with stains and generally old. Kids hung out in parking lot at night and it didn't feel that safe.nAs a Choice Hotel Diamond member, I'm pretty flabbergasted that this place keeps its franchise. Not worthy of it and I would not recommend staying here.
