I have read reviews of how this was not much more than Motel 6... Totally incorrect with the exception of plain Jane rooms. A few things besides appearance are very important to me/us... beds and showers...both are 100% on board..the water is excellent for drinking/coffee!! The shower head and water pressure excellent!! A bit pricey but we are here in the height of the season, you sort of have to accept it. Staff are great folks. A few other items that need upgrading are the tv's and internet speed..yes carpets might be updated to a hardwood - simulated wood - to clean up the total appearance and cleanliness as who in the heck knows what happened on the carpet. But all in all its an okay place.

Picked this Inn due to their prominently advertised hot tub. Was disappointed to learn that it no longer exists once I arrived at the Inn.

Trash wifi and I can hear people making noises from my room. Small bathroom as well and the sink is not even inside of it.

My experience with the Snow Cap Inn was better than expected. It's a fairly basic place, but you know that coming innnPluses:nFriendly staffnCleannQuiet. It was senior week so there were few kids in the place. not sure what it's like during school vacationsnKeurig coffee makers in-room, with decent coffee podsnComfortable beds/beddingnski lockers come with roomsnnMinuses:nConfusing bathroom/sink layoutnHeater was a bit loud (but not terrible).nNo channel guides for the TVnNo breakfast restaurant.nnRecommended, but expect it to be a basic, 3 star hotel.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. BUT after pre-paying $200 for essentially a Motel 6 room that was very dated, I didn't really see the need for them to put an additional $150 hold on my credit card. The TV in the room was an ANCIENT tube TV with a very fuzzy picture. Just like the ones you see by the side of the road for free nowadays. Fact is, I don't think we could have done $150 worth of damage to that room if we tried! And the heater in the room made one heck of a racket making sleeping difficult.nBy the way, its been over 24 hours since I checked out and the hold is still on my credit card!!!! Thumbs down unless you are just desperate for a room convenient to the hill. Could be a nice place with a freshen up.
