We had our wedding there and I cannot begin to say how grateful we are for the staff; from the valet drivers, desk to managers. Everything went smoothly and took a lot of stress off my shoulders. Great location but better people! Highly recommend. 10 stars if I could.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZINGnHistoric and updated. Valets were the friendliest people I’ve ever met. Meals were out ud83dudc4fud83cudffbofud83dudc4fud83cudffbthisud83dudc4fud83cudffbworld. Clean. Comfortable. Accommodating. Heart of shopping and food in Portland. Would stay here everyday.nThings you should know:n1) The valets can park Teslas.n2) Valet parking only and it’s $20 per day for parking.

A fantastic stay, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate an early arrival. They were very friendly and knowledgeable, providing great recommendations for food in the area. Valets were kind, courteous and very professional. We had lunch at the Armort Lounge and returned for drinks in the evening, it was a great place to relax and hang out. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. A fantastic place to stay with an unbeatable location and great employees!

We love this place! From check in to check out, the staff is cheery and very accommodating. The location, in Portland's Old Port, is so convenient to the shopping and restaurants as well as the downtown business district. The Old Port brick and cobbler stoned streets tell you this city has been around a while and it is proud of its history. The hotel is a repurposed armory that still shows signs of military preparedness. We had a top floor room with a great view towards the main post of the city and straight down the street to the waterfront. It was spacious with a comfortable king bed. Check in at 3 pm with accommodating valet parking (which is an extra charge) to check out by noon.

I only stayed here one night and it was more than enough. Room was dusty, lamp shades were stained, and there were food crumbs on the floor. Told the front desk, they upgraded us to larger suite room. Second room was also filthy... wine stains on the floor/carpet, counter, couch and outside deck. Found some leftover star confetti so they must have had a good time before us! Kept finding endless hairs that weren't ours in the bed and on the towels. It's obvious they don't clean. Even found a nice broken acrylic nail on the floor.nnAll in all if you want a dark, dirty pseudo-luxury experience then this is the place for you. The only upside is the location is close to a lot of restaurants, bars, etc... but even that didn't make up for it.
