Superb!!nnFirst off, the hotel staff is exceptional. I interacted with Elisa and Allison mostly and they’re very welcoming. They were able to resolve a late check-in issue very gracefully.nnThe union restaurant has such amazing food! It’s a really convenient and high quality spot for breakfast/brunch, esp for hotel guests.nnThe complimentary bikes make all the difference! It removes the hassle of finding bike rentals and allows guests to explore Portland at their convenience. The decor feels young and modern and the lobby bar seems like a great spot for drinks and hangouts. The overall vibe makes it feel almost like a urban resort.nnThe location is also excellent. You can see the City Hall right outside and there are tons of shops and restaurants within few minutes of walking.nnLove the executive king room especially the oversized bathtub.nnOverall, I would definitely come back when I visit Portland!
4 star hotel. Not much i can say that hasn't already been said. For me, it was a refreshing and unique stay unlike other main stream hotels. The newspaper theme is very neat, and makes for a wonderful addition to a great experience. Location is walking distance to many shops and restaurants located in Old Port.
The hotel is old but really kept up extremely well and has a very classy feel. What made me give it 5 stars though is the staff. Particularly Allison whom I think was the guest services supervisor. She really worked hard to make sure we had a great stay and did it with a lot of professionalism and politeness to boot. The rest of the staff was also excellent and always willing to help. Especially since it was our first time in Portland the hotel and its staff is what really made it special. Even during covid 19. I still felt safe and everything was clean and sanitized.
The location was great and everything was extremely high quality. The food at The Union restaurant was amazing (definitely try the lobster eggs benedict)! We enjoyed a drink after dinner in the bar and loved the atmosphere there. All of the staff at The Press were very friendly and helpful. Couldn't recommend this place enough.
