OK..talk about accommodating your guests, this team of professionals go above and beyond. They have a shuttle till 2:30 pm, Starbucks free brewed coffee in the morning. The shuttle took me to Bed Bath and Beyond for something I needed before I got on the Metra to go to Union Station.n⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Perfectly located with dinning, shopping and downtown Deerfield nearby, this would be a great choice for your stay, that is if you could really call the hotel a Courtyard by Marriott. Marriott should be ashamed of the condition of this property, and how it represents the brand. Just look at a few of the photos I've attached, showing the state of disrepair of this hotel. We had to check twice to be sure we had arrived at the correct address! After searching the hotel for 15 minutes, we finally found someone to check us in (no sign at the front desk). You'll love the photo of the empty parking lot, for which we were charged $21 to park here! (I have never stayed at a Courtyard that charged me for parking). The hotel smelled musty, and the room smelled even worse (like dog). The courtyard itself was unusable, overrun with weeds and other debris. I love Marriott Courtyards. But MARRIOTT MUST do something about this one (maybe replace the management, or better yet, tear it down). If you're looking for this level of amenities for your stay in Deerfield, try the Motel 6!

The staff were very friendly, and accommodating. The only reason it’s not a five is because I would like to see more items inside the room To combat COVID. Also, I think the housekeepers could deep clean the rooms more. I did have a good stay, and if I’m ever in the IL area I will come back.

STAY AWAY! I was bitten by a spider in the middle of the night while sleeping. I noticed a little bit and didn’t think about it. 2 days later, my foot was swollen so badly I could not walk and had to go to the hospital to get immediate antibiotics and a pain reliever due to the swelling and intensity of the pain. I called the hotel and they said they wouldn’t reimburse me for the night and they were going to have their insurance call me. They called and said they would not reimburse me at all. Zero accountability taken, they do not value their customers. STAY AWAY!!

You know these Marriott courtyard were once popular and fashionable. I stayed on a couple of occasions, this time in Deerfield. September 2020. I don't mind that it's a deserted almost derelict hotel. This 4th night I was put in a room as far from the front desk as possible. Ok that's fine. Except the outdoor entrance lock barely works. This time the room door keys didn't work at all. (I'm like a mile from the front desk and I'm tired). That bar on the sliding screen door was broken and I could barely slide the door open for some fresh air. I don't mind a deserted derelict hotel, if everything works properly.
