I highly recommend Deerfield Cycle! I took my bike for a tune-up this past spring and returned today for an adjustment. On both visits, the staff were incredibly professional, friendly and extremely helpful. I dont live close to the store but I am willing to drive to get great and friendly service.

Support Local Bike Shops (lbs) why would anyone choose to buy a bike from a big box store? You have no idea who built it, or if it was done correctly. At the same time, who do you turn to for maintenance, support, and education? Your local bike shop! Everyone at Deerfield Cyclery is knowledgeable and friendly. Service is great!

Cheapest & best place in the area to package and ship your bike.

Went to the store on June 21, I wanted to buy a kids bike. I called to check inventory and to make sure they had what I wanted to buy. The gentleman on the phone told me they had 3 girls pink Cannondale for $289. I've asked if they could put on training wheels since my daughter never been on a bike before. The gentleman told me no problem, we can take care of it.nI went down to the store to see the bike in person, the bike was perfect! I asked the sale associate if they could put on the training wheels so that my daughter could ride the bike. The sales associate told me that they could not do it because they are busy. He told me that his manager told him not to put them on. I was confused since they do sell them and I also asked them before coming in. The sales associate told me he could ask the manager again to see if he would change his mind. The manager told him they don't put on training wheels on bike because it would modify the bike. I told the associate that I called and I was told a different story, he says that his manager wanted me to pay before he would even put them on. The manager refused to help us buy a bike. Not a good way to run a business. I would not come back to this store or recommend this bike store. We took our business to the Trek Bicycle Store in Highland Park. The quality of sales associate is not even close. The employees at the Trek store are really nice and friendly. They seem to care about helping anyone out.

Incredible service! Will never go to another bike shop!
