Not as nice as I'd hoped. But the rate was for this nice q place. The breakfast is not very user friendly. You have to pay for it up front or have it included in the rate. That just seems like a pain to me. Staff is great.

I remember when they built it 30yrs ago. Getting old but still kept up Court Yard is beautiful especially in season. Reasonably priced.

I don't mean to post anything negative, but as a woman who grew up in Wood Dale and now visits...please do not send your family members or anyone you know to the Courtyard Marriott in Wood Dale on Wood Dale road. Last night their was a cockroach in our bathroom. The manager said it wasn't a roach (I have a picture), that its an outside bug and it doesn't warrant any refunds. The maintenance guy came in and sprayed chemicals all over so naturally I needed out of the room asap. They honored that and said I should've been happy with that. I got a knock at my door 10 minutes later and a woman asked me if I saw a roach in my room. I said yes!!! She said her and her friends room had them too and the manager stated maybe they brought it to the hotel themselves. I don't write negative reviews and I've stayed here many times. I've brought my daughter here to pool parties. It's a shame and if they would've been nice and helped us, I wouldn't say anything. No place is perfect. Watch out.

The front desk representative was very nice and helpful. The pool area was nice and simple. Not too big, not too small. The housekeeper, Noelia, was very helpful too. The coffee shop attendant was very nice. The gym was a nice size. Towels, water and sani wipes provided, yay! There's a TV in the fitness area too.nI just did not like that the blankets were dirty, meaning that they weren't even washed. They just flipped the blanket so that the stains weren't noticeable. The rug seemed damp. I'm thinking they had just been washed. This gave off a damp smell in the room. The refrigerator cabinet was dirty too.nThank you to everyone that made our stay more pleasant, but there is room for improvement.

For the plow price you get what you pay for...Room was clean. Thats about the best that it gets. Walls are thin. I'm currently listening to my neighbor's phone conversation. I can almost make out the person on the other end.nnThe mini fridge is mini. No freezer, so if you're packing food for COVID, pack light.nnThe balcony would be nice if it was warm out, but such a large window lets in a bit of cold air.nnYeah I will stay here again next week, but I'll pack lighter meals so I don't waste food...and I'll bring headphones to block out neighbors through the thin walls.
