Dropped off two bikes last week for repairs and adjustments. Was told they were 2-3 weeks behind in repairs. One week later, they called to let me know both bikes were done. Really wonderful folks to do business with. No BS, they tell it like it is. Outstanding service, great selection of well built bikes and accessories. Family owned. Personable and knowledgeable.

I'm so grateful for Lorna and her crew. They are all superbly knowledgeable, efficient and considerate. Lorna took the time to understand my riding habits, considered my size, and recommended THE bike for me! I'm wishing I had bought it back in October when I first test rode it. I was SUPER lucky to still find it on the showroom floor! Now my daughter gets my old (25+ years?) bike as there's next to nothing out there for tween to ride. Inventory is low everywhere... My advice? If you find the bike, preferably at J &R, BUY IT NOW! If you wait, it will likely be gone. Thank you Lorna! Thank you J & R!

Been taking my nearly 40 year old Schwinn Varsity 10-speed to J&R for over a decade for routine maintenance and repairs for over a decade and will continue to do the same. Always friendly, prompt, detail oriented and reasonably priced. About the only original parts left on the bike are the frame, fork, neck, cranks and gears. Everything else upgraded to make for a nice comfortable to ride all around bike and each accessory from J&R. Not since the old Allen's Cycle Shop shut down have I enjoyed such personable service. Friendly, helpful, and great communication. I went in for a tune up and quite a bit of service. The shop communicated very well the wait time and how busy they were. This was expected going in.nnWait time was spot on (just over 2 weeks) and my bike was ready after only a few days. Very impressed knowing the service that would be needed. Thank you! Exceeded my expectations. Will recommend and go back.

I recently purchased a new Trek bicycle from the folks at J & R Cycle in Villa Park and I couldn’t be more pleased with the whole transaction. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and patient in helping me get my new bike set up for me. All the bike stores are struggling with availability issues but they seam to be managing it well. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new bike or accessories to visit the people at J & R Cycle.I will definitely be back! Come on summer!!!
