WoodSpring Suites Chicago Tinley Park

We don't like the stay here. They never had clean towels and sheets. We had to wash the ones we hadnourselves. We stayed here for about 3 weeks, the hotel has 4 floors, we asked for the 1st floor but there was nothing and then they put us on the 3rd floor, we had problems with the guests above us with noises, fights and discussions all night practically the whole accommodation, we complained to the administration and nothing was resolved. It is only possible to highlight and praise one of its employees (Aaron) who, from what we noticed, was the only one who was attentive and promptly to help and serve well. in fact he was the only one who was always running, cleaning up the always excited talking and interacting with the guests. The others seemed not to be so interested in being friendly or attending the guest well.

If I could give it less I would. I made a reservation. Put in my payment information. And got my confirmation through email. Come the day I am supposed to stay, (check in being at 3) they called me at 1pm to tell me they have no rooms available. I would highly suggest not taking a gamble on this disorganized mess of an establishment. Stay elsewhere.

The pillows are unclean and flat too.nThe reason why I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 is because the staff was...nice enough for me to be cordial back. Never again.

Reasonably priced for extended stay. Once I recleaned the room, including the fridge and microwave, it's quite nice. Location js good.

Good staff and quality accommodations for a reasonable price. That said, there are two serious shortcomings: the total cost and the location:nn(1) they nickel and dime you to death. Seriously, sure you’ll get a pretty competitive nightly rate (if you book for a month or more) and a room with a kitchenette with microwave, stovetop, a full size fridge with freezer, and some counter/cabinet space. But the room will be fairly small, they only do housekeeping every two weeks and you’ll have to pay a fee for fresh linens in the meantime (or wash them yourself at $5+ per load), they don’t provide any cookware or utensils for the kitchen (unless you pay a fee), the upgraded WiFi is expensive, and they don’t allow early check in unless arranged 24 hours in advance of check in time (also for a fee, of course). But parking is free at least!nnand (2) the location is awful - it’s very far away from the city and even for tinley park it’s a bit off the beaten path. It’s very difficult to get an Uber or Lyft out here any time of day. Late at night? Forget it! Want to order delivery and it’s 8PM? Good luck - more often than not, the app will say no couriers available. Even during hours when one would think they’d be available, your options will be limited.nnOverall, I’m a little disappointed with this hotel, honestly. Bottom line, there are competitors in the extended stay segment that will often have equal or better nightly rates but don’t nickel and dime you to death and have better locations. The facilities may not be as nice and they won’t be as secure (key access only at all doors in and out of woodspring hotels), but in terms of value I just think the competitors have an edge on them.
