Hyatt Rosemont

I’ve been staying here from time to time for about 7 years or more. I liked the proximity to the casino and restaurants. Lately though I have been disappointed in this property and the brand. I’ve noticed the rooms are getting run down and there’s usually something wrong in them. Either the hinge on the cabinet is broken, the microwave isn’t clean, the bottoms of the bathroom doors are peeling, just seems like it’s time for a renovation. When I stayed last month the toilet was dirty when I checked in. Also, whenever there is weather, the tv goes out. Then you have to call the front desk and let them know etc and it takes awhile to fix. Seems strange. Like maybe don’t have dish then? The restaurant is closed, can’t even get food to go. I also had a frightening experience last month where a man followed me into the elevator calling me by some other woman’s name. I moved to get out and he left before I could escape. When I told the front desk lady she seemed indifferent. He had been in the lobby when I walked in and kept yelling hey, hey, after me. I had no idea who he was. They should’ve asked him to leave but they didn’t. There’s no security in this building. Because of this incident and the fact that there are newer, nicer properties in the area that have lots of cameras and more up to date rooms, I will no longer be staying at Hyatt ROSEMONT. They also don’t honor your special requests. I don’t think they even read them.

Receptionist was so nice and accommodating plus they have a shuttle to the airport which was a plus during these times. Room was fairly clean and acceptable for my short stay.

I took the complimentary shuttle from the terminals. There are located a few restaurants within walking distance. Staff was friendly and the room was spacious. I would choose this Hyatt hotel again in the future!

Really close to the airport and their complementary shuttle is quite useful. The hotel is a bit small, but the rooms were clean and the staff was quite attentive.
