Courtyard by Marriott Chicago O'Hare

Got caught up in a snowstorm and couldn't drive. I came to the hotel and got a last minute deal on a nice room. Clean,. comfortable and friendly service. Small fridge in room. I only wish they also had small microwaves too. Other than that its a very nice hotel. I work in the area and If there is ever another storm I will go back.

We stopped for a one night stay on our way to Chicago for a funeral. The room was impeccably cleaned and item's were in sealed plastic wrapping even the t.v. remote control. We had plenty of towels. Next day we enjoyed a very delicious breakfast in the lobby which was included with our stay. Definitely recommend this Courtyard by Marriott in Poplar Bluff, MO.

The hotel is beautiful; however, do not count on the hotel shuttle. We have called three times and have been waiting over 45 minutes at the airport. If you can, look at other park and stays before choosing this one.

We checked in late and left early next day for flight but rooms where clean with no complaints. We stayed there so we could keep our car parked and used the shuttle while we were on a family trip. In the morning shuttle was ready and it was really great service. They gave us a print out of instructions on where to meet again when we landed and were told pick up times at Airport were every 15 minutes. We traveled with a 9,5 and 1 year old so it was the convince we were looking for. On Sunday we found the meeting spot at about 2:01 and figured we just missed him and after not seeing the shuttle for about 25 min we started to call to make sure we were in right sport or what happened. Husband tried calling for almost 10 minutes and after it would ring the phone would hang up every time. It was the number on instructions and we could not find any other number by Googling to try. Finally some one answered and they had someone call who was at a different gate and that he would be there to get us in 5 minutes. By this time my kids were at their limit and screaming for lunch and to go. We had no options because had no idea how to even get a cab and almost asked one of the other hotels who had since gone and come a few times to help out. After another 15 minutes my husband started to call again and again it would ring and hang up, we went through this for again for 10 minutes until they shuttle finally showed up. Not a sorry or any explanation and we arrived at the hotel at 3:10. We still had another 3 hours to drive so not only was this increably stressful for us and kids but it put us behind schedule. We will never stop here again on our trips.

Awesome, kind and helpful staff! The facitilies are a bit worn out but the friendly staff made up for it. Super helpful with shuttle service and advice on either side of our trip.
