Volton is a must stop if you’re looking for an electric bike around Chicago. Very impressed with what they build. After test riding several other ebikes around other shops, I bought this fine machine. Great experience with Joe and Volton.

Joe did a fantastic job on my e-bike conversion. I wanted to convert to an e-bike without compromising its retro look. He recommended a 250W mid-drive with an attached battery to the frame of the bike that looks like a water bottle (very cool). The bike looks and rides great. Great bike! Friends and family agree that this was the right choice. Family purchased a Rad commuter and I liked it but wanted something nicer. Made a call to Volton and got fitted with the Alation. Everything is a step up in quality and the ride is way better! That torque sensor! Yes! If you're around Chicago and looking for a solid bike and a great crew to work with, you've found the place.
