I recently had a four night stay at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites O Fallon/Shiloh. This hotel is centrally located, if you need to be near St. Louis or Scott Air Force Base, this hotel is centrally located between both areas. My stay occurred during the pandemic and the town was under numerous restrictions. There are countless restaurants near the hotel, so there is no issue finding food options near the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, there was no traditional breakfast being served during this period due to the pandemic, but they did have a good grab-and-go selection. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but the hotel is a little outdated. There were some mildew spots on my bathroom ceiling, but overall it was a good location and a very good stay. Rooms were not serviced unless requested, due to the state wide restrictions. I would recommend this hotel.

Had a great stay. Room was very nice. The HDTV was good-sized and had a great picture. Comfortable beds. They offer a free breakfast, but since they closed their breakfast room for the time being you must get a grab 'n' go bagged breakfast or you can assemble one from the desk clerk to take to your room. Pool and weight room are closed right now. Check the three pump soap dispensers in the shower. I discovered I had one shampoo pump and two conditioners. There was enough bar soap in the room, but just proactively avoid a surprise!

We live in Virginia and both our children and our extended families live in the Metro East. We stay in this hotel probably 20-25 days per year. It is always clean, comfortable and the front desk staff always kind and helpful. We highly recommend it for anyone staying in the area or passing through. Easy access on /off I-64 at exit 16.

The free breakfast wasn't the same. They did have juice, yogurt, and a choice of either a breakfast biscuit or croissant, that you had to take to your room and heat in the microwave. The room also had a choice of coffee or tea to makenLeaving there was a table loaded with white paper bags with a bottle of water and several snacks to take with you on the road. Comfy beds and pillows in the clean rooms.

This location is a travelers, escape room.nnFirst I can only assume that the toilet seats were installed by a female, as it seems they are spring loaded.nnThey will snap downward with such force it has purpose.....nothing can explain the surprise a man can deal with at 2am when a toilet seat hurls downward.nnThey are all like this. Two rooms and the lobby restroom does this. Too many to be coincidence I feel....must be by design and of malice.nnOtherwise a good hotel, somewhat dated, and didn't quite have the scent of holiday inn....
