Best Western O'Fallon Hotel

Great service, great breakfast, managers and staff were really friendly and nice. The rooms were excellent and CLEAN. Stayed there twice and it’s definitely my favorite next to Holiday Inn’s. 10/10 recommend.

we stay here every week on monday for the past year and a half and we love this hotel and all of the staff there. they are all simply amazing, they treat us like family they all know us by name and go above their duties to make us comfortable. our room is always very clean and smells great. we have never had any issues with any of our stays or any of the staff. coffee is always fresh and breakfast are always ready and they even have upgraded them which is nice. the lobby area is always clean and smells like fresh baked cookies. we wouldnt stay anywhere else. we stay in the business king on first floor and the room is huge with plenty of space. great price, great location, great staff and an overall great hotel.

I would give this establishment a negative rating if it was possible. I booked with them 3 weeks in advance for a small vacation with my children to visit my sister since her husband has deployed for service over seas with our military. The three weeks leading up I received emails reminding me of my reservation. I received and email THIS MORNING on our drive reminding us of our reservation at 3pm. When my 2 small children and I showed up to check in, we were informed that they had accidentally gave our room away for a baseball tournament that was happening this weekend. The staff was rude, was unapologetic and never acknowledged the fact they left us without lodging, and could not explain why I was never informed of this.

This hotel experience was a mixed bag. The check in staff was stand-offish and not very personable, but the check out staff was friendly and upbeat. The room was clean, but the elevator and hallway upstairs smelled SO STRONGLY of weed all night and through to the morning. The in-room temperature control didn't seem to have a happy medium, we were either drenched in sweat at 69 degrees or freezing and shivering at 65. The bathroom in our room was also extremely weird, I kept calling it a bathroom for ants, everything was so low to the ground (the toilet seat didn't even come up to my knees and I'm only 5 foot 4!) The sink was also outside the bathroom so you had to touch the doorknob to exit the bathroom to wash your hands which seems unsanitary and weird. There was also a strange sound in our room the entirety of our visit, I originally thought it sounded like someone showering in the room above us but since it never stopped & never changed we ended up referring to it as the sound of Darth Vader heavy breathing from the closet. I can only assume it was the sound of their pipes, but pretty annoying. All things considered though the room was acceptable for the one night we needed it and the price was reasonable compared to the alternatives here in the O'Fallon area so we made it work, but not sure I'd stay here again if I needed to stay in O'Fallon.

The staff lack professionalism. I could not tell who was a part of the staff because it was always random people behind the counter. One of the staff members had a laundry cart in the hallway as we were walking towards him he was on his phone and he saw us coming so he kicked the cart to the other side of the hallway without looking up from his phone. I would not recommend staying there.
