We booked this hotel through hotel.com, after a 10hr drive we find out the place is closed 3/25, no cars in parking lot, construction dumpsters, gutted flooring/wall, & doors locked. After 6 reps 10hrs later, hotel.com can't give me a refund without closed hotel's approval, even though they found out it's closed due to flooding. Then called Radisson, who can't help either. Finally hotel.com through email to Country Inn, said they denied my 76.57 refund, wow just wow. I'll be reporting this to BBB next.
Our stay here was pretty fantastic! Our room and bathroom were a little on the small side, but they served their purpose. Very clean property! Vickie, the Manager is very friendly and made my girls and I feel very welcome from the moment we walked in the door! Anything we needed she was there with a smile! Thank you Vickie for your patience and kindness!! I 100% reccomend!!
We came in from a 6 hour drive at 11:45 pm to find the place looking gutted and abandoned. No one parked out. Dumpster pods covering the parking lot. The door was locked. We tried to call with no answer. We had a reservation through priceline. Ended up having to go across the street to a Hampton. Thankfully they had rooms available. I'm so disappointed no one bothered to call us to say the hotel was closed!
The room was really nice. The pool was freezing, as was the pool room temperature. It took 40 minutes to get checked in and we even had a reservation. Then the early morning of checkout, our cards didn't work and my children and I were locked out of our room, stuck in the hallway trying to find someone to let us back in because nobody was at the front desk. My kids wanted to swim, so we were let in the pool room, then after swimming, we were locked out and stuck yet again, in the hallway while I tried to find someone because nobody was at the front desk yet again. That was my first time going there, I probably won't be back again. I even signed up as a rewards member, I don't see it being used after that poor experience.
Elevator is falling apart and is 4 months overdue for inspection, bugs in the rooms, shower looks nasty, fridge doesn’t go cold, that breakfast consisted of a couple granola bars and three different kinds of cereal. I don’t know how this place has such good ratings....
