This place might not be brand new and shinny but it more than makes up for that in character. Everything comes from the heart, Tim is super friendly and incredibly accommodating. He really enjoys what he does and it shows, and that makes you happy to be there and you enjoy getting to be apart of it. If I’m headed through southern Illinois again I’m staying there 100%
Thank you Tim! for a amazing long lasting memories!nWe had a 13 week contract and Tim made us feel like we were familynthe 1st time we arrived.nI never had a bad experience here!nIf you need fancy things for entertainment it won't be here.nAre you the type that can handle old school life this is it .nThis is a place !!!nThe memories i made herenThe friends we meet ! now they feel like family is no price to stamp on that.
Tim (the owner) worked with me during my time there. He's a great host, works hard to provide a great service and camping experience.nIt's a well kept, quiet campground, everyone there were very friendly.nIf I'm ever close I'd definitely busy again.
The owner was amazing how well he worked with everyone. My family of 6 were there for 7 months and he made us fill at home. Made sure to say hey or if we needed anything and would help any way he could. It was a quiet place for you to enjoy, but also close to stores if you needed anything. Tim, thanks for everything you did for us.
Great place! The owner Tim is a great guy he goes far and beyond out of his way to help you or anyone else for that matter.My husband and I stay there in 2020 deer hunting season it was the perfect place to stay. The closest convenience store would be over the Ohio River bridge to convenience stores there and go into shawneetown and there's a convenience store there as well. Also a great place to bring your pet if you're staying for a while.
