My family and I stayed in a king suite and it was nice and spacious and very clean! The staff was courteous and delightful. The pool and spa area was super clean, the kids had a blast! We will definitely stay here again.
I called ahead as I was looking for specific amenities: pool and hot tub, continental breakfast, and cleanliness. The hotel is modernized which makes it look nice, but the room was very dusty and there was hair in the bathtub. The hot tub did not work (it was cold), there were no towels at the pool and the employee said she had just put a load into the wash and there wouldn’t be any clean towels for a while. This was at 9am when the pool opened. The continental breakfast consisted of Cheerios, English muffins, apples, apple juice, and coffee. I was expecting more considering the cost of our room. Our door key stopped working and the employee who helped us was pretty rude about it and blamed us for the card not working. We only spent one night. Will not be going back when we plan our next trip to Ames.
From the initial phone call to make the reservation, to check-in, to check-out, every person at this hotel was exceptional. They did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and reassure us about Covid precautions they take. Room was nice. Very quiet. Great location. We will definitely stay here again when we come to Ames. We have 2 dogs and the location is perfect if you have pets. Lots of green space and walking areas near the hotel.
Excellent stay. The Manager was so friendly, professional, and accommodating. She is very clearly the right fit for the job, she made the entire stay SO enjoyable. The rooms were clean, the pool was nice and warm, and there's a gas station with a cute little local restaurant that has the BEST food OH MY GOODNESS (restaurant closed on Sundays... But they do have a small breakfast buffet at the hotel every morning with the usual Coffee, HB eggs, english muffins, milk, juice, cereal, etc). Covid safety measures taken. 10/10 I absolutely loved it and will be back.
Me and my family stayed here until our home was ready. I must say D is the petfect host really sweet she even got us an excellent price definitely would stay here again thanks D your the best.
