LeafFilter Gutter Protection

Wonderful sales person arrived at our home on time to describe the product. He answered all of our questions in a friendly and professional manner. His visit was followed the following week by a friendly and considerate installation team. The team had to make several visits to complete the project, but kept me informed through the whole process. The total cost was higher than I expected prior to considering a leaf guard, but I think we will get many years of protection out of the product that has a good guarantee. The installed leaf guards look great.

I had called and and had what I thought was going to be a great experience with the LeafFilter company to replace gutters damaged in a storm. The estimate process went very smooth and after I accepted and signed the sales rep said he would call me with an install date the following Monday. The call came and the install date was set for the 23rd of September. The date comes but the installers never do, no call, nothing. So a call is placed and was told on the phone that a scheduler would call back and clear up the mixup. Never received a call. Called them a second time same story no call back. Again I placed a call to their customer service and again was told that I would have a call returned, to say at this point I believed that statement would be easily the understatement of the year, and my lack of belief was justified because again there was no call received. So today I called again and was told that the contract had been canceled but the person I was speaking with couldn’t tell me why the contract was canceled but she would have someone call me back with the information, but guess what I never received a callback. So again I have called LeafFilter and went through person after person and still don’t have an answer to why my contract was canceled or replacement gutters. I am fearful that this company will attempt to get the 25% they claim for cancelled contracts otherwise I would have given up after the second non returned call. I personally would avoid this company like the plague, they are obviously not interested in providing good customer service or even the service they claim to provide.

Speaking for the local office, it has been a great experience. Our sales person (Jazmin) was friendly and patient, and the installers volunteered to come a day early, and while they were here, they were great. Scott and Lance cleaned up their work along the way, answered all questions patiently and competently, and they even were willing to let me go up and look at the work while they were installing. They were even game to let me do a test run with the hose before they left. We'll continue to monitor the product for success, but I'm really happy at this point. Love having a local office!

I was impressed with how quickly the install was able to be scheduled and accomplished after the contract was signed. The installers showed up on time, worked until the install was completed and took time to competently answer any questions I had concerning the system and install. We finally had a significant rain event after the install and the system seems to work as advertised. It handled the heavy rain without any evidence of flow over the gutter edge. So far I'm satisfied with the system, its quality and construction and the install.
