Trek Bicycle Store Davenport

Staff was great. All of them feel enthusiastic when answering questions and talking with me, which I understand can be hard to keep up in a retail position sometimes. So I appreciate that! Love the bike I purchased and I would go back again.

I took my son and I’s bikes in to have some professional help with getting them in good condition for the nice weather, even though they are not Trek brand. The reviews seemed good, so i was excited to take them in. I give two stars because the service technician was pleasant and helpful. However, I believe it was the salesman that i was mainly speaking with who let me know that he “also used to be a cheap skate who would buy these $100 big box bikes” and described in several different ways how they are junk and just can’t be fixed. I left without my bike fixed, but with added insult for not having $700 bicycles to ride around the neighborhood with my boy. If we ever do decide to get more into serious biking, i would Not take my cash there to buy one. I do not feel the comments were necessary or appropriate. I hope the friendly, helpful technician moves on to a shop that treats their customers, or potential customers, with more respect.

I've been a frequent rider for the past two years and it was time to upgrade to something more refined. My partner and I stopped by Davenport Trek location to inquire about which bike might be the right fit. We then met one of the staff members named Jude. He was unbelievably friendly and knew exactly how to determine our needs. After determining the right size, we ultimately decided on an FX 1 (Rim) for myself. My partner wanted to wait and give the new bike a few test rides before making a decision. By the next week, she was sold and ready to upgrade her setup as well. Ultimately, she settled on the Verve 1 (Disc), having Jude's assistance in sizing/finding the correct fit. We are both extremely happy with our purchases and have nothing but kind words and appreciation for Jude. He is an outstanding and knowledgeable associate and an extremely friendly person. We will be lifetime customers, thanks to his service!

I've bought a couple bikes here over the years. They always answer my questions and treat me well. I bought a mountain bike here a few months ago and a bike for my son. I've been back for the complementary service and as usual they were courteous and quick. Definitely recommend them!
