Good place to stay, safe, and clean. Could use some improvements and updating such as the carpet, AC units and bathroom fans (early 1970s at best)nnGreat staff and host; little pricey, but welcome to the Monopoly of Algona, IA

Great place and nice people

Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is friendly

Algona, why? Your town in being fixed up beautifully and this is my second huge disappointing accommodation in your town. Thankfully this one doesn't have bed bugs like the super 8 but this was just plain nasty. Cleanliness is a minus 5 stars and being up to date, possibly in 1940. The place is a fire hazard having an electric radiant heater right under the bed. Pretty sure the shower curtain was last cleaned the day it came off the assembly line before installation, it hasn't been cleaned here.

For a inexpensive motel it's not bad
