This was the nicest, most affordable hotel I've ever stayed in. The rooms are huge & spotless. The staff is super friendly & helpful. We ended up staying 2 more days than expected. Thank you Best Western Plus Birmingham!
The first room we got had not been cleaned. When we came back downstairs, the receptionist was on the phone for at least 5 minutes while I was waiting. She didn't apologize, just quietly gave us another set of keys. This time the room literally had people in it! The third time, she just left after I told her about the situation without saying anything. She returned in a few minutes and handed me the third set of keys. Only after I asked her whether she was sure that this room was clean and vacant, did she tell me that she actually went upstairs and checked.nAlso, on Hotels.com in the description it said about full breakfast being included in the price. Well, it was not due to the Covid-19. It has been a full year since the pandemic had started, so they should have taken it out of list of the services.
Smoke smell due to guests (low price brings that) blowing smoke into the bathroom vents. The vents are switched so the smoke never leaves the exhaust stack for the bathrooms.... AC was noisy and never could get a balanced room condition ...ROOMnwife arrived early and wouldnt let her in the room despite having a photo of my card. i called customer service and they said it is up to the desk. I had sent and email telling them she is coming early and they said great we will be ready... FRONT DESKnHow did this place get a 3 star rating... 2- STAR MAXnThey hide the breakfast. the room is dark and locked and a sign on the door talks about a bag breakfast but that doesnt exist either. - BREAKFAST
Dawn went above and beyond for us, to help get us checked in. We are staying here after a surgey and room is very comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay here again!! Thank you Dawn for your assistance!!
Not your typical Best Western experience. This is a great hotel if you're in this area. The room was very clean and smelled great. It had a great feel from the moment I walked in the door. There were plenty of fresh towels, and the lemon soaps really helped me wake up. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room quickly achieved the sub-artic temperature l need for sleep. The staff was welcoming and very accommodating. I travel to this area for work, and I will definitely visit this hotel again.
