Surestay Plus Hotel By Best Western Morgantown

Travelers beware. I travel the 79S quite frequently and have stayed all along that route. Got a late start yesterday so only made it to Morgantown. We went in to this hotel with mediocre expectations. We were met with less than what we thought. The beds felt as if they've been used since the 80's, to the point they were warped so your feet were higher than your head. Pillows were like sleeping on a pile of wool. The kind of wool that is still attached to the sheep. The room was warm so I attempted to access the in room air conditioner.... but of course that was as unresponsive as me trying to teach a toaster ballet. But at least the toaster still serves a purpose. The toilet was mot secured properly to the wall so you felt as if you should update your last will and testament just to relieve yourself.. Ok, enough about the amenities. A family of furniture movers, or circus performers, or maybe even two monkeys having poop throwing contest checked into the room directly above us. From 10pm till we left at 7:15 this morning, they were up and seemingly competing in the triple jump all night. The walls and ceiling/floor were so thin, I was able to deduce that the man didn't have prostate issues as his urine stream was healthy and strong. The toilet plumbing is pretty good in the place as we heard it whoosh past our bed through the wall like a slide at a water park. Finally I decided to turn turn bathroom fan on, just to attempt to drown the upstairs neighbors noise a bit. Well, morning shower time. The bump out (curved) shower curtain rod looked as if it was hung by a blind man being directed by a man with no arms. It was at a downward angle and therefore it didn't even close close whole way. The bathroom floor flooded since the water was not held in by the shower curtain. All in all, I'd rather sleep at a rest stop. Avoid at all cost.

Stayed for surgery at Ruby. First room did not have heat just blowing cold air. Second room had NO towels, toliet paper, soap, tissues. Stains on the sheets. No iron or coffee pot! Ice is only on first floor. We have stayed there many times, but this was the worst! The staff was great!

Good rooms in a quiet area, but very close to restaurants and shopping. The only real downfall is there is not laundry on site.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful.. I had a short stay in between leases they are pet friendly which was a must. Very clean, comfortable bedding and the price can’t be beat.

Carla was fantastic. She checked us in at midnight, then ended up cleaning our room the next day. We had issues with shower pressure and she got us in a new room in less than 2min. She was really great
