My wife and I had never been to West Virginia and settled on Lewisburg on the advice of the tourism board. We were hoping for a friendly town with decent casual restaurants in proximity to the parks and got so much more than expected. The community has a relaxed, progressive feel and everyone was friendly. We somehow missed the opportunity to sample the cuisine at Arthur's' French Goat (so we will be back!) but the food everywhere we went was more often than not exceptional. The Maison Marcel was gorgeous and spotless. It's a stone's throw from the center of town so, close to everything and incredibly charming. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves for four days and we haven't stopped talking about it. If you're looking for a place in Lewisburg, you won't find better accommodations and while we didn't see Arthur much as he & his wife stay on another home on the grounds...he was a wonderful host and insured everything was perfect. Do yourself a favor and book a stay at the property...you will love it. (Landon Smith)
Fantastic home in beautiful Lewisburg, WVA, near the Greenbrier. Great for groups or families. Can't wait to come again.
