Great location to stay any time of the year. The view of the mountains was spectacular.
DO NOT stay here if you are a light sleeper. I paid $1,000 per night for 3 nights, bought $2,000 in tickets for Sundance and left after the first night. That’s how bad it was. All night long snow cats were right outside my room and every 10 minutes their back up alarm sounded “BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP” I think this place must be next to the main place they keep all the snow cats. This was a bucket list trip for me that ended up being a nightmare. I writing this at 7am in the airport heading home.
First we were given a different room than we booked, the room was old and out dated. The bedding was dirty with dried stains and hair all over in it. The hot tub was brown and slimy, the swimming pool had dirty socks in it, not to mention the pool water was also dirty. This place is disgusting. The tv remote had no batteries asked 4 times for some, never got them. I had to Pull all the bedding off put clean ones on so I could go to sleep. Come to find out, they don’t clean the rooms they just “Tidy Up” in between Stays. “What” I can’t believe we paid for this kind of filthy service. This place is appauling!! Please save your money. And stay else where.
The rooms were great. It offered all the basic amenities including spa and free wi-fi. The lodge also provided complimentary Ski/Snowboard valet if you rented from them which is a huge plus because the lodge is so close to the ski lift!
Very few rooms with good views. Communication with the front desk staffer was difficult. They could not give me any information on rates or availability. They said the department that does that was not open yet.
