I had my Carbon Carbondale Synapse road bike tuned at this shop by Carlos. Although the bike was cleaned and the chain replaced, I didn't get the breaks serviced at all and he didn't true the wheels. He didn't even bother checking the tire pressure and he boldly stated that he doesn't do this and the break service would be an extra charge. I believe I paid $190 for a chain replacement and bike cleaning. I also noticed during my test ride that gears on my high settings make some noise while I ride. If you care about your bike and know what it takes to get a real tune up then this is not your shop. You are probably better off at REI.

I bought my first bike from the owner Carlos back in 2010 and took it to him for tune ups. Great fast servicenSince I got me a used road bike I went to them for advice and they don’t hesitate to help out even if I wasn’t buying a bike from them. For that I take my road bike for tune ups or components upgrades. The owner Carlos is a man that has been in this business for many years and I like for someone with that much experience to work on my bike. Their prices are competitive but i get someone with lots of experience to work on my bike. During this covid19 times, the service to get the bike returned is much much faster then the other bike shops in town. Yes definitely will continue being a customer here.

Been looking for a bike for quite some time. Chris is a very nice person. He sold me and my girlfriend 2 khs hybrids and we are beginner level riders. Bicycles are fair priced. I visited other shops they had no bikes in stock. Bikes have warranties as well. I will return to planet bike and encourage everyone to pay them a visit. I am very satisfied.

I normally take my bikes for tuneups, they come out good. The owner is a man with many years of experience in the business so that’s who I like to have giving service to my bikes. Recently I took my road bike to get crank arm, bottom bracket, cassette, and rear derailleur upgrades. They did a great job. Their prices are very competitive but the service is way faster then other local bike shops to get my bike returned back.nThe owner gives me advice on parts when I ask. If I don’t need them or spend my money on them he will tell me and I save my money.
