Clean room for a good price. Water pressure was good, water was hot, room was clean, and the location is excellent. The room did have a few minor maintenance needs. Most of the outlets didn't have power to them, which was the biggest issue I had with the room. I would definitely stay at this property again.

It was a very nasty unclean room. I have about twenty pics including baby roach video. We cleaned for about two hours but it still needed cleaning behind beds and on walls. We had to ask three times before we got any towels. It was very expensive for the room. It is pet-friendly. It has a beautiful Colonial front. It is right beside the Georgetown Marina. You have a Dollar General .2 miles away. The uncleanliness and bugs are just turn offs.

When we got there to check in they were talking about rooms not having towels. Didn't think much about it until I went to the desk at 9pm to get ours. They didn't have any. Was told to use the clean hands towels and bath mats. Upon checking out the next morning there were 4 other people with no towels in there rooms and some even had dirty sheets and had to change them there selves. One last was so disgusted she slept in her car. Not acceptable.

Still being revamped by new owners,seem to be overlooking a lot of safety features..nOur room had door jamb poorly repaired,a/c unit with very noisy blower.nCheap fake wood floor was so dirty ,that when using shower dirt was just running off bottom of feet.. very noisy young adults on weekends. Expressed my opinions to new owner and just shrugged off with no concern..nWOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYBODY!!

Not worth the stay when there is a better hotel right across the street. Our room was clean, and the bed was acceptably nice...and that's it. It was clearly past due for modernization, with shabby maintenance. The vent in the bathroom ceiling didn't work, and there was mold around it. The sink was missing the plug in the drain, and if you looked under the sink, whoever fixed it last did a very amateur job and used flexible plumbing...which still leaked all over the floor under the sink. The office crew was pleasant enough to work with, but they made a pretty unfortunate mistake where our room keys were apparently only set to work for one night of our two night stay. If no one happened to be working when we got back the second evening, we would have been locked out of our room. The parking lot did have a couple shady figures hanging around like other reviews mentioned, and it was definitely not kept super nice or clean around the property.nnAgain, since there's a perfectly good hotel across the street that I have used in the past and was great, there is no reason to stay here. The redeemable qualities of the Baymont are the bare minimum for a functioning hotel in this day and age, and are nothing worth awarding extra stars.
