Love this place. We just drive there sometimes to get away. Clean and friendly. Nice pool and real nice hot tub.
Apparently got new owners. Excellent house keeper names Alice quit because of it. So sad that she's no longer there. She was the highlight of our stays.nPop machine ripped off my husband and front desk staff refused to refund the lost money. What happened? New owners so now not as nice to guests?????!nRoom was clean at least and pool and hot tub worked at least.
We got broke down here in Big Cabin. My husband didn't want me sleeping in our suburban, so he got us a room. The staff at the desk was excellent. The room was spotless. It was quiet, and we slept well despite the stress we were dealing with. The maintenance even drives my husband 28 miles away to get the alternator my husband needed to fix our vehicle, and they let me stay in our room where it was warm till my husband got our truck fixed.
It was a good place to stay and close to our event. Staff in the office are friendly and helpful. When making a reservation push 3 to speak to the actual office and not 1 to make a reservation. You'll get a much better deal, save about $20! Close to 2 truck stops, which can be a good and bad thing thing. Overall, met expectations. But the bed was uncomfortable, odd smell in room, and we did see a roach the next morning by the alarm clock. Weigh your options.
The place is very great staff is so friendly and helpful, great breakfast and rooms are very clean. Nice pool. Beds are nice and comfy I will be staying again
