If you get a chance to stay here during one of their Oklahoma House Concerts, make it happen! The Barretts anticipated my every need and I could really tell they genuinely cared about my comfort. I have no doubt we'll be visiting again as I have found few places on the road that measure up to the truly welcoming environment of Chapparal Retreat. For me as a fulltime traveler, Linda and Andy exceeded my every expectation and tirelessly endeavor to foster a loving environment for all. It's the perfect bed and breakfast for anyone in need of a home away from home to meditate, relax, create or simply explore the area. I left with a rejuvenated heart and uplifted soul. ud83dudc97
If I could give it more stars I would. I absolutely loved staying here. The owners were so nice and accommodating. It was quiet and peaceful. So clean and the breakfast was outstanding. The owners left us to our room. We will stay again.

This review is a bit overdue. My wife and I stayed in the Texas Room more than a few months ago and we absolutely loved it! Everything about the place screams comfort. And the hosts have some sort of special magic they do. They are extremely friendly and helpful when you want them around, but when you're looking for some quiet time, they magically vanish. It's like they have their finger on the pulse of the guests' needs. They are very knowledgeable about the local area and even have some interesting artifacts at the guesthouse.nnI hesitate to rave about it too much because I want it to be available when we return, which we definitely will. But I have to give it a solid 5 stars and recommend it very highly. Great job, Chaparral Retreat!!
Beautiful property, gracious hosts, luxurious accommodations. Reasonable room rate includes full breakfast. No comparison to any local hotel/motel or other B&B. Hard to find on internet unless you know the name of the place--CHAPARRAL RETREAT. Will definitely stay there again
