Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Boone, NC

A little bit misleading with a Quality Inn sharing the parking lot and apparently the staff. Hotel is in need of maintenance as the front lobby was not inviting and the hallway carpet had what appeared to be bleach stains. The room as comfortable however the pillows needs some attention and the remote control looks to be hand tied into a small clear waste bag. I get the attempt at hand hygiene but the presentation is a bit lacking. Overall medium value for the price; however, proximity makes it 3 star versus 2 stars.

Very disappointed in the accommodations at this hotel. With the price I did have high expectations. I think having a room that had been previously cleaned is not asking too much. I wish I had inspected the room throughly when we first got there.nThe hot water handle on the hot tub is broke. Very hard to get it to work bit we finally did.nWhat we found in the morning was, a cup in the microwave with a wet wash cloth in it, a used bar of soap still in the shower, food left in the tiny freezer. So much for a clean room. This was a costly room at almost $300 for the night. Being the night of Valentines we were happy to pay for it. We will never stay at this hotel again. And as for the next stay, we will be sure to thoroughly inspect the room as soon as we arrive.

A great place to stay. The rooms are clean its close to everything in Boone, NC and the staff is phenomenal. I highly recommend them.
