Taylor House Inn, Historic Valle Crucis NC

If you are looking for a getaway where you can catch up on some R&R this is the place! My husband and have worked a lot this year because we are both “essential workers”. We decided to get away for a few nights for our anniversary. I told him all I wanted to do was relax (aka-eat&sleep) and that’s what we did! The beds are amazing!!! The comforter hugs you like a big soft cloud and you just naturally nestle down in the bed. I miss the bed now that we are back home! The inn keeper is so considerate and a great host all around! There were chocolates on the nightstand, goodies in the mini fridge, and an anniversary card on the table. The home cooked breakfast is so yummy. My husband is not a fan of waffles but he ate all of his the first morning and complimented on how good they were. Okay so there is a ton more I could mention but I’m running out of room. Basically this place is 5 stars all the way around and you need to go!

The inn keepers were so nice and friendly and gave us space at the same time, the house was gorgeous and has an authentic player piano from 1903 which our host demonstrated for us! The breakfast was delicious and the beds were comfy too. It was easy to drive to even in snow because the roads were well taken care of

Great place to stay if going to beech mountain!! The location was perfect! All we had to do was take a right out of the driveway and keep straight to beech mountain, about a 29 minute drive. We stayed in the “little room” in the red cabin. The room was super cozy and comfortable. Private bathroom. There is a public tv in the main house, no in room tv at least in our room there wasn’t. But don’t let that deter you it’s all part of the bed and breakfast experience and we were too tired to watch tv after a day of skiing anyways! Breakfast is served to your room every morning and was delicious! Everything was made fresh and the presentation was perfect! We cannot say enough great things about this place! The owners were delightful and so accommodating! They made sure we always knew how to get to our destination down to when we were headed back home! We will definitely stay here again on our next ski trip!

An amazing place to get away! Make the hike to the waterfall just down the road, it was amazing as well. The host's Bernard and Tessa are wonderful people, thank you both for having us!
