The Ivy - An English Bed and Breakfast

Karen and Mike are the best hosts we've ever met!nnOur stay in Warrenton was during early 2021, still in midst of COVID19. When we got there we were greeted by Mike and Karen. After talking for a few minutes, it came to light that I had booked the wrong weekend! No worries, as they were able to set up the room in an hours time and we were ready to go. We were the only guests for this weekend, which worked in our favor as we got to steal a mountain of time from a couple that had plenty of interesting stories to tell.nnWe had breakfast both mornings that we were there. It was the firs time that we had a full english breakfast and the love and attention to detail was noticed. Karen cooked for us, and when we were all done Mike joined and we had some enlightening conversations. We met community member from the historic board, friends, business owners... and we were there for just 2 days!nnIf you're in this cute, historic, friendly town and need a place to stay, I cannot recommend this place enough.

Great decor, hospitality and delicious formal tea. Also the English breakfast was a delight. My wife and I celebrated our One year wedding anniversary this October here .I highly recommend this B and B if you're in the area.

We stayed for a long weekend at the Ivy B&B earlier this month. Karen is such a gracious host, making our stay the perfect respite. From the welcoming tea upon check in, to the traditional and authentic full English breakfasts, the china, Mike's folded napkins and more, we could not have asked for a better experience. We look forward to returning again.

The Ivy was so wonderful and relaxing. My husband and I stayed two nights and enjoyed every minute of it. Karen was so nice and friendly. She was the best! The food was fabulous! We had English bacon, eggs, beans, bread, orange juice, coffee. She has a tea time also but I didn’t get to participate in that. The rooms are beautifully decorated in an English theme and with all the amenities. She also puts out snacks and drinks, coffee etc. in the hallway near your room. You have to try this wonderful Bed and Breakfast. It’s very lovely!ud83dudc9b

Karen and her husband we're absolutely amazing the hospitality me and my girlfriend received during our stay was homely. We're were in town for a family emergency and karen sat outside with us during the breakfast and chatted that alone helped ease our mind even if it was just for a moment i would absolutely go back plus we loved our room I wish I could've take the bathroom with me.
