Hampton Inn & Suites Raleigh Midtown

We stopped here traveling through for one night. Newer facility, one of the nicer Hampton’s I have been too. Modern rooms, clean large bathrooms and friendly professional staff. Dog friendly.

We booked thru booking.com and were charged a different higher rate than we reserved. I spent over 2 hrs on hold for customer service for Hilton and still nothing. I will dispute it with the cc company. Shameful- it was over $30 different. For owning 18 brands, they are doing a terrible job with customer service. This hotel is great however Hilton is not concerned about the customer and I am not doing to give them any more money after several bad experiences. I would recommend Marriot instead if you are looking for a relationship while traveling- much better service and manager have ability to fix issues without calling the dreadful 800 number. The pool was not open and my kids were looking forward to taking a dip.

Clean, wifi, parking is tight but ok. Walls seem thin could hear the people next door moving around especially if they were in the bathroom. No fan in the bathroom as well. They do offer a breakfast although I didnt eat there. But that was good it was avaliable. Would have given 5 star but the guy who checked us in was rather strange and rude. He threw my sisters card and made a smart comment. Gave no directions as to where anything was but breakfast knowing we never stayed there. He made sure to ask if she ever stayed there. He act as if something was wrong with her card. Wells fargo or most banks will ask if the authorization is you due to security not to mention you can cut your card on and off. Need someone who have better customer service skills at the front desk.

Loved my stay here! Staff is amazing and the hotel itself is super clean and the rooms are beautifully decorated. The hotel is walking distance to Trader Joe’s and wegmans and lots of other stores! Would definitely recommend!!
