Residence Inn by Marriott Raleigh Midtown

I enjoyed my week-long stay at the Residence Inn. The hotel is very close to shopping, restaurants, and convenient to the interstate. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and there was lots of space to spread out.nnThe hotel rooms are definitely in need of an update. The furniture is very old and the kitchen implements are very basic and cheap. The hot water heater runs out of hot water very quickly. The door of my room had gaps where visible light could be seen through it and cold air constantly flowed through.nnPersonally, I probably wouldn’t stay here again in the future, but it’s a decent choice for an extended stay hotel if you can overlook the minor negatives.

The rooms look and feel like an apartment. Full size appliances with dishes included. I've stayed in lots of hotels but this one feels like an actual home. Central HVAC no window units. Excellent lighting and cleanliness. I would prefer that the water stay hot longer in the shower. I recommend this place to all looking for quiet relaxing nights without the constant ruckus, fights, thumping bass and drug activity you see in other hotels.

Spacious and reasonably priced. Close to many attractions, like the excellent Cowfish Restaurant.

This hotel is across from the hospital after being released from an accident. I needed somewhere to stay several days to fully recover. I've been here 2 weeks now and love it. Very clean. Rooms are large with a full kitchen, couch and chair. A large bathroom as well. You can park right in front of your unit which is more like an apartment complex than your standard hotel. A hot breakfast is served daily and everyone is extremely helpful and friendly. I'm from Florida, but will stay here again my next time I'm in Raleigh. Prices are reasonable as well. Stay here. You'll love it.

Rooms are nice and the staff members have been nothing but friendly and helpful. The rooms may seem a bit dated but they are still in good condition and are comfortable and clean. Some particulars that I appreciate: bed is comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped, and the water pressure in the shower is good. We had a small maintenance issue and they fixed it the same day—and even left a nice note! Never had that before. And the breakfast is fantastic—great variety with rotating hot dishes. Would definitely stay here again!
