Hyatt Place North Raleigh-Midtown

Greatest customer service I've ever experienced at a hotel. Shower was leaking so the attendant came immediately replaced shower head gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. So I decided to stay an extra night the same attendant gave us two free sodas and was very polite n courteous The rooms were very clean and spacious. Loved every minute of my stay.

Hotel itself was fine. Clean, neat, everything we expected in a hotel during this Covid era. What I didn’t like was the front desk person this morning when we checked out had his mask on but well below his nose while he spoke with another female staff member across the desk who wasn’t wearing a face mask at all. I didn’t get names or I would have posted them but this occurred a few minutes after nine this morning.

The hotel itself is a little dated. We stayed in two different rooms at this hotel. The door to the bathroom is so big you have to stand on one side of the toilet or hop in the shower to close it . You will get no microwave or coffee they do leave you a coffee maker though. The king bed is rock hard no joke ! I don't know why they lock the front entrance during the day the door didn't open the person at the front desk can't see you knocking to get in. A guest helped up open the door . My wife had just had surgery when this happened.nThe carpet was dirty in each room .nTheirs like four Hyatt hotels around Raleigh. I'm 100% convinced people get this one by mistake.

Great stay. Extremely convenient location especially since the other Hyatt nearby was booked. They are handling Covid well and didn’t feel I was ever in an unsanitary area of the hotel. I checked in at 3pm on 10/10/20 and the gal was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful about my app. She easily knew why my app wouldn’t let me self check in and checked me in literally in 10 seconds. The bed was cozy, room was spotless. Yes the hotel is dated but the price is fair and it was a good value.

We just spent one night , but room clearly and clean , good staffing , only was the bag of breakfast was chip.
