Very clean, keeping distance

Booked a King bed room through a third-party app. I tried to get in contact with someone at the hotel before I came but no one ever came to the first. When I got there I was notified that the room that I booked wasn’t available, however they did offer me another room but it was double beds ud83dude10 not the best idea for a anniversary get a way. Hilton Clean Stay is honestly a bunch of B.S you still have to touch things hands on which I don’t like. Key cards didn’t work I had to go back and forth to the front desk to fix this issue. If you call them from your room you either get rushed off the phone or placed on hold for a long time. They say it’s newly renovated but clearly it’s just the lobby and the restaurant on the first floor, it doesn’t look like any of the money was put towards the rooms. My room was NOTHING that I expected, a very old modern decor that didn’t match with the name “Hilton”.... With a room like this I could have went to a low budget hotel but to be paying this much I’m suppose to get my money’s worth. Adding nights has the low rates however, they will keeping taking large amounts of money out your account for a “hold” even tho when you first check in they ask for a hold so what’s the point of keep taking out for it? I don’t recommend staying here! Everyone using the same microwave downstairs isn’t COVID-19 safety, they should be in each room.

Spoke at a conference. Staff was pleasant. Social distancing and all safeguards observed. Would definitely go back.

I am a frequent traveler for work, over 100 nights a year at Hilton properties all over the country. I’ve never felt the need to post a review before because to be honest the experience is generally pretty consistent. Unfortunately this one just isn’t it. The lobby draws you in with a modern warmth and that quickly fades as soon as you walk through the door to your room. The furniture is old and outdated and quite frankly run down. The internet speed matches the decor, which most people will tell you is second to a comfortable bed for a business traveler. I’m not going to tell you it’s a bad hotel, it does a job and in fact the staff are wonderful, however a cautionary tale from a frequent traveler: You will get a nicer room and a better experience at 99% of Hamptons in America and it will cost you significantly less in most places.
