Dalton House

Stayed there maybe 8 years ago and even at that point it was full of a must/mold smell. This place is extremely overpriced and is in need another complete renovation. This hotel was “renovated “ after a hurricane flooded it and they cut corners left and right. My speculation is that the establishment is full of mold. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Good place to smoke crack though. Please beware.

The first room that was assigned to me was smelly, and the shower was dirty. Called the manager and gave me a second room that was a replacement for the first one, the shower was dirt also along with the toilet. I bleached everything down. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We came all the way from Texas to visit my family for a week, and we stayed at the Dalton House. We were very surprised of how big and clean our room were.. We got room service everyday, the people at the front desk were very friendly, and it was nice and peaceful our whole entire stay.. When we come back that is where we will be staying.

Location is very quiet, room was large and it was clean. Thanks for a good night stay.

Rooms are musty and moldy, carpet smells like swamp water. Owner is a churl.
