Cant cook in your room will cut power off and kick you out they have hidden cameras in these rooms

We stayed at this motel for a week during Hurricane Florence. The couple who own it are excellent people. The day after the storm finally ended, the wife knocked on the door and had a hot plate of delicious homecooked food in her hands for us. And when it looked like we might be able to leave to come back to Jacksonville, we ended up having to stay another day. The wife checked in with us again to make sure our 3-year-old son had enough clothes. If he didn't (he did), she offered to give us her grandson's clothes. How lucky were we to stay in a place like this during the storm where the owners cared about us so much? Very lucky. This humble motel deserves your business.nnI've read the other reviews, and I completely disagree with them.

For treating hurricane evacuees like family and making sure everyone was looked after. You are good people.

Stepped up - way above and beyond - before, during and after the storm. Treated renters like family. 10/10. Would stay again.

It's not a good place to stay cause it's not clean and there are roaches crawling around.
